Dave Newman 11-8-17
Dave has enjoyed fixing things since age 10 when he started with bicycles and then moved onto cars. He opened his business after teaching for years in the Chicago public school system.
He has gotten to be an expert in fixing doors that do not close properly. The problem is usually the top hinge which bears most of the weight of the door. A simple fix is to just tighten the screws but if they have been stripped, Dave will try to anchor the hinge to a deeper wall stud. If hinges had a door step installed on them, Dave usually removes them because they cause more stress on the hinge and makes it wear out faster.
Give Dave a call for any job, small or large, and get it off your to-do list.
