David Putrus has been a Skokie staple in the business community for the past few decades. His commitment to the largest village in the world is a testament to his success professionally. During his presentation, David provided us with some updates on the new branch First Bank Chicago opened up in Skokie a few months ago, as well as his continued involvement in multiple organizations he’s affiliated with.
First Bank Chicago is a division of First Bank HIghland Park. They are a family owned community focused bank, catering to the needs of the geographies they serve.
Although they currently have just 3 locations in Illinois, they’re investment in technology and customer service shows through. Able to not just compete, but exceed expectations created by larger banks, First Bank Chicago provides customized service to cater to every client’s needs, no matter how eccentric they may be.
Located on Gross Point Road, just north of Dempster, the newest Skokie location is a site to see. And although there isn’t a drive thru available, you can always deposit checks remotely, or visit any one of the thousands STAR atms to withdraw funds without a fee.
David’s committment to the community is highlighted by his volunteer work, and participating on several non-profit boards and Village commissions, including the Skokie Economic Development Commission, the District 219 Education Foundation, Skokie Community Foundation, the Douglas Center, and most recently the Skokie Chamber of Commerce.
David’s mantra, one that he borrowed from ABT, is that the answer is YES to any reasonable request.
