When Don got into the industry in 1984, alarm systems mainly were smoke detectors which were meant to alert home owners in time to get out of danger. But if they go off when no one is home then they don’t help save your home from burning down. Solution is to have an alarm system that also calls the fire department. Besides the chance of saving more of your property then can also save lives if the siren is not heard but the fire department still shows up and gets people out.
Kitchens, attics, and garages are areas where heat detectors are more useful than smoke. Kitchens may have too many false alarms with cooking. Heat detectors will go off if temperature exceeds 135F.
Don also sells doorbell cameras & adjustable thermostats so give him a call for anything related to alarm systems.
