Hovig spoke of the process his office uses in evaluating a patient’s problem areas when they come for an appointment.
Most of the diagnosis can be made from talking with the patient. Where is the pain? How long has it been present? Does anything particular make it worse? What treatment has already been tried?
From there various tests (physical, neurological, functional) can be done including x-rays, MRI, and ultrasound.
He then combines all the results to come up with a treatment plan customized to the patient. These may include stretching and manipulation exercises, lifestyle changes, weight loss and medications if necessary.
Give Hovig a call if you have a problem that has not been helped by other means. He can do further testing to uncover issues not previously seen.
