John always meets with clients to discuss their wants and needs without making judgements. He needs to fit the design to the neighborhood in both looks and space. If the design goes over the limits placed the village/city officials, he’ll try again but often compromises have to be made. He will take into account which side of the house faces the street, which windows will get the most sunlight and if there are aging/handicapped needs.
He is currently working on a project where the owners requested having two bedrooms on the first floor and a three car garage. This would exceed the required limits and he hopes they will agree to have one bedroom on the second floor and space for two cars.
