During the discussion, Tim focused on what services and products the United Family Health Alliance was providing to make sure people are maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle during this time.
As a result of the current COVID-19 situation the UFHA has developed facemask gaiters. These gaiters are compliant with the current recommendations by the CDC and most recently the Village of Skokie Mayor’s office. The proceeds of the sales for these masks will be devoted towards the “What’s Your Legacy?” scholarship contest, youth sports programs and community centers in the area. This is a great opportunity to not only protect yourself and the ones around you, but also give back to a great cause in the community. (Plus each purchase is counted as a PROFERRAL!)
In addition to these gaiters, Dr. Tim has also been offering FREE 1 on 1 pharmacist consultations, reviewing medications, supplements, and vitamins for people who are hesitant on leaving their homes at this time. Anyone interested can book a time with Dr. Tim by visiting the UFHA website at www.theufha.org and clicking on the blue button on the bottom right side of the page.
On our Facebook and Instagram pages (@theufha) we have been also posting a wellness Wednesday tip of the week, to help people find ways to stay healthy and active during this time.
Our hope and wish to ensure the health and safety of everyone. Stay positive, stay strong and stay resilient. We will all get through this together.
